All articles published in Azerbaijan Pharmaceutical and Pharmacotherapy Journal  (ISSN 1994-1951 (Print), 2959-1929 (Online)) are made freely accessible in full open access. Upon acceptance after peer review, an article processing charge (APC) of USD 990 (US Dollars) is applicable. The APC is intended to support the expenses associated with peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and overall journal management.

The financial capacity to pay does not exert any influence on the peer review process or editorial decision-making within the context of this journal. In instances where an author faces limitations in funding to cover Article Processing Charges (APC), the journal extends the option of a full waiver in APC. This provision is contingent upon the author's submission of a confirmation email from their immediate institutional or departmental head, affirming the financial constraints faced by the author. The intent is to ensure that economic considerations do not impede the equitable participation of authors in the scholarly dissemination process, fostering inclusivity and accessibility within the academic community.
