Article Processing Charges

The Azerbaijan Pharmaceutical and Pharmacotherapy Journal is an open-access journal, ensuring that all published articles are freely available to researchers, scholars, and the public without any subscription or access fees. To cover the costs associated with high-quality publishing services, including peer review, editorial support, online hosting, and long-term archiving, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 300 USD per accepted article.

Why Are APCs Necessary for Open-Access Journals?

Open-access journals do not rely on subscription fees; instead, they charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) to support the following:

  • Peer Review and Editorial Management – Ensuring rigorous quality control and a transparent review process.
  • Production Costs – Formatting, typesetting, and maintaining high publication standards.
  • Digital Hosting and Archiving – Making research permanently accessible worldwide.
  • Indexing and Promotion – Increasing the visibility and reach of published articles.
  • Long-Term Accessibility – Ensuring continued availability without paywalls.

By paying the APC, authors contribute to maintaining a high-quality, sustainable open-access publishing model that maximizes research impact and accessibility.
